IT all-rounder / IT practitioner (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for the next possible date for a

IT all-rounder / IT practitioner (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• First and second level support for our employees

• Installation, configuration, and support of clients, notebooks, and peripherals

• User and rights management (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365)

• Collaboration in the administration of Windows servers and Exchange environments

• Support in operating and monitoring the server, network, and system landscape

• Implementation of updates, patch management, and collaboration in life cycle management

• Support for backup and data protection solutions, including recovery tests

• Support with IT security measures (endpoint protection, firewall, awareness)

• Monitoring of systems and collaboration in fault analysis and troubleshooting

• Selection, procurement, and installation of hardware components

• Maintenance of IT documentation and the ticket system

• Collaboration on IT projects, rollouts, and infrastructure modernization

• Support in managing external IT service providers (as specified by IT management)

Your profile:

• Completed IT training (e.g., IT specialist for system integration) or comparable practical experience

• Several years of experience in first and second level support

• Good practical knowledge of:

  • Windows client and server environments

  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange

  • Active Directory

  • Backup and Recovery

  • patch management

  • IT security basics

• Basic understanding of network, firewall, and endpoint security issues

• Experience with standard hardware (clients, printers, network components)

• Hands-on approach and enjoyment of direct user support

• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to work

• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team and reliability

Advantage:

• Experience with virtualization (e.g., Proxmox, VMare, Hyper-V)

• Knowledge of IT system monitoring

• Knowledge of central device management (MDM/UEM)

• Points of contact with IT projects or partial responsibility

• Basic knowledge of cloud or hybrid environments
